About the Designer: Donald Claflin

Born in Massachusetts in 1935, Claflin studied design at the Parsons School of Design in New York and began his jewelry career at David Webb. He began working for Tiffany & Co. in 1965, where he created his most iconic jewelry pieces, his collections debuting to high acclaim. In the end, all the attention to detail paid off as his creations are true masterpieces! Claflin parted ways with Tiffany & Co. in 1977 and found a starring role at Bulgari where he helped to revamp their style before his untimely death in 1979.
